Spring ID CAMPS - Application Forms now open

The Calgary Royals will be holding  U18AAA, U15AAA , and U13AAA Spring ID Camps in spring 2026.  These camps are intended for players looking to play at the AAA level in the 2026-2027 season and that are currently playing AAA, AA, CSSHL, HSL and Division 1 in the CRAA draw zone.  Those who play in U13 Div 2 may be considered for U13AAA ID camp as well.The camps are an opportunity for the AAA coaching staffs to watch, interact and give feedback to players over the course of 3 games.

Players are NOT required to attend the Spring ID Camp, as we will still hold traditional tryouts in late August/early September,  however there may be some commitments made to players during this camp for the upcoming season.  The coaches will not be filling positions for the entire team, and fall tryouts will still fill the majority of the spots available. Any committed players will be required to secure their spot with a deposit and parameters that will be disclosed upon the offer. 

Please note that body checking will be a component of both the U15AAA and U18AAA camps.  All camp registrations will be via invitation only and selections WILL NOT  be first come, first served as we are looking to make the camps as competitive as possible and are looking for the highest caliber of players possible.  Players selected will be emailed the registration link.

FEE: $230 (gst included)
 -  please note: an additional insurance charge will be in place before the camp begins for anyone not currently playing on a Hockey Canada sanctioned team
